Recommended Cleaner
Regular cleaning with warm water and mild soap or a gentle every day cleaner are great ways to maintain your Porcelain or Ceramic tile. The right tile cleaner should lift away dust, dirt, or grime from the floor and wall tile without leaving a residue and will be formulated specifically for your tile type.
Glass tiles can be cleaned using a specially formulated glass cleaner with a microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge.
Inorganic stains are caused by soda, grout haze, soap scum, water spots, drywall, limescale and plaster residue, rust, concrete, wall paint and construction dirt.
To remove inorganic stains, use an acidic cleaner.
Organic stains are caused by ammonia, grease, oil, wine, beer, epoxy, urethane and pre-mixed grout stains, tire marks, thinset, adhesive tape, marker and rubber cup marks.
To remove organic stains, use an alkaline cleaner.
