Raizor MkII – Rail Cutting System For Large Format Tiles

• Rail cutter for large format tiles providing the length of cut up to 10.8’ - 330 cm.
• Raizor MkII includes:
• Cut pliers for snapping tiles from 1/8” to ½” (3 to 12 mm) thick;
• Die-cast aluminum cutting unit. Provided with a high-performance Titanium-coated 7/8 (22 mm) wheel. The wheel features built-in bearing and calibrated high-strength steel screw;
• Two connectable rails providing each 5.2’ (160 cm) length of cut. Each rail is equipped with 3 dual-lip suction cups; the length of the cut of the rails once connected is 10.8’ (330 cm)
• Everything is packed into a padded bag with shoulder straps and a storage pocket.
• The die-cast aluminum cutting unit slides on the rail thanks to 3 resin wheels with high mechanical performance, each equipped with its own bearing.
• The cutting unit is designed to transfer all the pressure applied by the operator onto the tile thanks to its tilting movement. No force losses thanks to the removal of any mechanical interference.
• The 7/8” (22 mm) cutting wheel features a special TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) coating, which gives it extremely high wear resistance; it is also equipped with a built-in bearing to ensure maximum smoothness, extreme precision, and efficacy. Furthermore, it is very easy and fast to replace.
• The special design of the extruded aluminum profiles ensures very high structural rigidity and, at the same time, a very low weight.
• Each rail is provided with 3 dual-lip suction cups (featuring each extra release tab) Ø 37 ½” (95 mm) made of stain-free rubber (6 suction cups in total). Suitable for relatively textured tiles too.
• In addition to being very useful when measuring the cut to be made, the suction cups prevent Raizor MkII from moving during the incision, thus ensuring maximum precision and efficacy. Moreover, thanks to their unique positioning inside aluminum rails, they prevent the guide from overturning regardless of the pressure applied to the cutting unit as well as the cutting position. This makes Raizor MkII effective even for the most complicated cuts.
• Each suction cup has a release tab that can be used if it gets stuck (which sometimes could happen on very glossy tiles; if it happens, just pull the tab).
• Suction cup handles with 180° movement so as not to interfere with the cutting-unit stroke.
• Distance between the scoring line and the aluminum profile: ¾” (20 mm).
• The bag protects the product and allows it to be carried easily. It also features a pocket for personal belongings or work tools.
• The supplied cut pliers features progressive pressure system (via knob) so to combine maximum efficacy with delicacy to tiles. Can adjust rubber feet width so to adapt to the cutting width. Cut tiles from 1/8” to 1/2” thickness. Made of sturdy die-cast aluminum and galvanized steel.
• Available as an accessory dedicated extra rail to extend the maximum cutting length to 14.8’ (450 cm). Sold separately.
• Available as an accessory, Power-Raizor MkII cutting unit to perform cuts with diamond disc at 45° and 90° as well as intermediate angles.
