Custom countertops are for larger projects over 25 square feet that require special measurements, like kitchen countertops. The custom countertops process is affordable, personalized, and simplified into five steps.
Custom Countertops Buying Guide
1. Estimate Measurements to Calculate Costs
Use the online measuring guide to estimate the square footage of your countertop. These measurements will be helpful during your free design services appointment and in selecting a material within your budget. Bring photos with you as well for seamless in-store shopping.
2. Select the Material & Color
When shopping in-store, check out the 10 inch by 10 inch displays for a closer look at the texture, detail, and color of the custom countertop options. For online shopping, visit the custom countertops page and order a 4 inch by 4 inch sample right to your door. View the [brochure](https://flooranddecor.a.bigcontent.io/v1/static/FD Brochure_9.23.2022_Bilingual) for more details about edge profiles, sinks, and more.
3. Schedule Professional Measurements
Enter your information to get started, and a member of the Floor & Decor team will reach out to schedule an appointment with a certified fabricator installer for professional measurements. You’ll incur a $75 measurement fee that will be put toward the countertop total if you decide to purchase. Following the appointment, Floor & Decor will contact you with a final estimate.
5. Schedule the Installation
Once measurements have been recorded and final payment has been made, the installation is soon to follow. The certified fabricator installer will contact you to schedule your installation when your material arrives.
